International Women's Day Project 200 Gala Awards Ball
Date/Time: Friday 30th March 6:00pm
Venue: Hilton Hotel Brisbane CBD
Event Details: Research shows that management teams that include both men and women produce larger profits than those with men alone. ASIC now requires listed companies to report the numbers of women in senior management roles, set targets and report on their progress each year. Unfortunately the statistics are showing that there has not been a significant change in the numbers of women in executive management positions (including boards) over the past 9 years, so we believe it's important to recognise and apppreciate women who are 'Stepping Up'. Project 200 Gala Awards celebrate and support women in management. Project 200 is an initiative of What Working Women Want to engage 200 companies and organisations to nominate a woman in management they believe has made a substantial contribution.
